Anthony Davis became a Private Investigator 15 years ago when a dinner with friends presented an opportunity which has now developed in him having many local and national Solicitor clients as well as prestigious and blue chip private clients. He discovered that a very old law, dating back to the days of the Magna Carta, and was used by the Normans to collect taxes, can be used by Landlords to collect commercial rent. This law, which has been recognised in statute with various acts over the years, in particular the Distress for Rent Act 1988, allows a Certificated Bailiff, instructed by a Landlord, to attend at the property to collect outstanding rent and can Levy on goods if required. No seven day letter or expensive and protracted legal proceedings are necessary and the tenant will also have to pay the Bailiff fees, i.e., no cost to the Landlord. As in the investigative side of his business, Anthony has built up a network of Bailiffs, covering England and Wales, enabling him to deal with any Warrant within 48 hours of receipt.
